TRAIL ON
Hello from across the screen!
This is Junlin here, but you can just call me Jun (pronounced like the month, but without the 'e').
I am excited that you happened to stumble upon my little personal website.
To tell you a little about myself, I am a software developer stationed in Toronto, Ontario.
I am currently pursuing my studies at the University of Toronto, specializing in computer science - software engineering stream.
I started coding because it was enjoyable to see something you designed and created, just come alive; there's something interesting about that.
Apart from programming, I usually partake in a bunch of hobbies, pertaining but not limited to rock climbing (bouldering, top rope and lead), playing the guitar (I am a huge fan of the acoustic sound), singing, watching movies (especially horror) and occasionally gaming.
Anyways, thank you for reading this segment, and I hope you enjoy the rest of my website.
Cheers!
A pixel horror game that I developed for my hardware course. This game was completed fully in MIPS assembly language, with over 64 thousand lines.

A full stack web application that I developed for my software engineering course. This application students, teachers and employers to connect, schedule and meet each other. This was an all inclusive application that can be used throughout highschool to post graduation.

A smart contract deployed on the Ethereum blockchain that I developed for fun. I was very into crytocurrency around 2021, and wanted to learn more on how the environment worked. This was a mini project to test my learning.

A discord bot that I developed to account for daily checkins for the NNN (No Nut November) challenge. The bot ran on firebase, storing in an NoSQL database, taking account into all server users.

I am a huge fan of the game Sudoku, and wanted to create a simulator that I can practice certain moves on. So I developed an engine that is trained to generate games for practive.
